july is here!

hello i've not blogged for almost a month!!! i've been home for one week or so and to be honest, i think i'll turn into a pig soon! the only things i do at home are sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep and eat again! trust me i am not joking or anything. its just that the weather has been really hot lately, yes really hot, like too hot for exercising, or even shopping! :( nonetheless, i managed to meet up with my old friends and teacher and quynh. was supposed to have a class reunion this week but i was too lazy to call people up, so i shall wait till someone else organises! :D


gosh i cant believe that its already july! not so long ago, quynh and i were still on the plane back to sg together. we didnt even have a sim card then and had to use the free phone at the airport to contact loan at like 2 am and ask her to pick us up! what have i done in all these months? seriously, i cant really remember! :( argh i miss school and hostel! however, i am not looking forward to the new school and hostel though! well, they're going to be different from the previous ones, and i'm so not prepared yet!



anyways quynh has a new dog and it looks like a cat! when i came to her house the other day, i saw the thing and it was so small and sleeping, so i decided to touch it! it was my first time touching a dog! :D :D :D then after that, the bigger dog was jealous and it looked sad, so i felt bad, hence i touched it too! and guess what? the dog liked me and licked me! omg! i swear i'll never touch any dog again!


haha cant believe that i actually spent so long looking for lumeo's picture! (lumeo is the bigger dog!) the small dog's name is lily. i told quynh that it should have been named limeo instead, but her sister said if the 'meo' was added to a dog's name, the dog would be really dumb! :D

just had lifeguards 4-G dinner! (4 generations of lifeguards squeezing in a super small and stuffy function room!) i am very sorry for being anti-social as i didnt talk much to the J1s, J2s and J4s but honestly i'd rather spend the short evening with my dearest J3s! :D we might not be as happening as the other batches, but we really enjoy the time spent with each other, dont we? and the mature MI who is turning 20 soon has realised that time is a scarce resource which shouldnt be wasted because the opportunity cost is really huge! hence, if MI has time, MI'll certainly spend it wisely! :D

hello everyone! this is the COURTESY CAT! i mean its so obvious that it is a cat. but how can someone say that it is a lion!!!!

choco mini!

i kept eating choco mini for the last few days ang guess what? i miss school, because choco mini was like my favourite lecture food! :D haiz somehow it reminded me of sock!

hot pokka green tea.

1. after answering phone calls for one long day until your throat feels as dry as, hmm, a desert...
2. the weather is super hot and humid...
3. you have to wait for 15 mins for the shuttle bus to come...
4. there is a vending machine right at the bus bay...
5. you just collect your pay and the cashier gives you 1kg worth of coins...

without a doubt, you'll immediately go to the vending machine to buy a COLD drink to refresh yourself! (: and ...

6. the coin hole (i am sorry, this sounds a bit yucky, but i dont know how to call the coin hole!) is there (red circle)...
7. the melon drink above the coin hole is not really nice...
8. POKKA GREEN TEA which is just one row on top of it is clearly a much better choice...

if you're not ROFL-ing (haha, rolling on the floor laughing, i bet you didnt know!) right now, i think you have no sense of humour because i laughed until i cried when this happened after work today! and just for your info, i wasnt the main character of this story, although i might appear to be rather blur at times to some of you. who she/he is shall remain private and confidental. this really made my day! :D haha and it just proves what work has done to us. tsk tsk!

banana!

oh no banana is going to the states!!! :( i know i'm supposed to be happy for her and everything, but i cant imagine how it'd be not to see her for another 4 years or more. okay maybe it wont be that long, but since i've long thought of us going to ntu together and continue our chimmy life there, the idea of banana going elsewhere is just, hmm, unbelievable!

i know this might sound mean, but i seriously wished she would reject (or be rejected :D) by all the colleges in the states that she applied to and stay here with us! and my dream almost came true. almost.

oh no banana we even planned of going swimming together if we both were accepted into nus! :( and we just have so many other plans! meow! :( i am sad, like seriously! duckie and bearie will miss you too. how how how? haiz we must go for a holiday together when i come back okay? this time i wont care what my parents say anymore!

mrt.

i was waiting for the train at dhoby ghaut mrt station the other day and this was shown on the screen.


do you find it weird? after looking at the above picture for so long, if you still havent realised what is so strange, you're probably even slower than me! :D so yeah, let me tell you the weird fact: dhoby ghaut is on the red line and this train is going to pasir ris which is on the green line!!!

when the train arrived, i was thinking to myself whether to board or not, because i wanted to go to orchard and i didnt want the train to bring me to pasir ris! while considering, i decided to take a photo of this second-to-none incident. hixhix and the old uncle who was waiting for the doors to open totally stared at me like i was a weirdo who had never seen an mrt station before! -.- (OMG i just used -.-, the huangish icon!) humph what was there to stare at? he probably didnt realise that the train was actually supposed to be going to jurong east, not pasir ris!

i was so proud of myself because i believe that i was the only person who noticed what was wrong that day! :D i bet the mrt staff was playing around because it was so very early in the morning and they thought no one would realise their prank. but guess what? they were so so so wrong, because there was a very observant cat who not only noticed but even took a picture of the scene! :D

OMG i cant believe that i wrote such a long post regarding this! :$ meow i feel so stupid now!

lifeguards.

i have been coming back for lifeguards training quite regularly. it felt great to be swimming in acjc swimming pool again with all the lifeguards! everything just seemed like the way it was last year: george was still so heavy while alfred was still so light! :D however, the people training with me werent all the same. today there were 5 generations of acjc lifeguards swimming in the pool together, from j1 to j5!!! (:

when i first joined lifeguards in j1, i never expected the lifeguards spirit to be this strong. all i thought at that time was just that i loved swimming but i couldnt swim fast so there was no way for me to join swimming! :D but now (yes even now, when i have graduate from acjc) i'm still so proud everytime i put on the lifeguards swim suit!

hmm but the only worry is that my tan line is back! :( i dont know whether its a good or bad thing! and today when i tried doing underwater again, my lung almost exploded! i guess i'll have to try harder! i cant believe that i was able to finish my events during comp last year!

i was on my way to shangri-la the other day and i saw this couple walking in front of me. it was about 7-8 o'clock in the morning, and they were walking really slowly, enjoying the morning's fresh air, holding hands and talking in some language that i dont understand. however, i still thought that they were such a sweet couple! (: i didnt overtake them although i was almost late for work. hey you, could we be walking like this couple 60 years from now?
