i went out on saturday and sunday although i had not fully recovered from the flu yet and on both occasions, my fever came back to haunt me! i was even injected with medicine dissolved in 1 litre of some solution via what banana called IV lines last night when my temperature shot up to about 40oC! :( so yeah, grounded till i fully recover! hopefully i'll get well soon, as i still want to go out with banana for the last time in i-dont-know-how-many-years and the dwaves, too! haiz this holiday is a sad sad sad one!

am i a swine? :(

gosh i've been having a fever and a sore throat since yesterday and my head and whole body are aching so badly! OMG am i a swine? :( :( :( i think i got the flu from my father but he has already recovered! hmm maybe its just the seasonal flu! but i heard that the death rate for normal flu is higher than that for swine flu? oh no am i going to die? i am still young! :(

i was on the way back home from the swimming pool and came across a lady who used to stay near my grandparents' old house decades ago. i still could recognise her but i doubt if she knew who i was when i said hi to her. then i realised that when we've reached a certain age, we dont really change anymore, both in terms of appearances and otherwise. i'm thankful that people still comment that i look different after not seeing me for years as it means that i'm still young! (:

my first niece!

hello i had my first niece today! she was named after what-was-my-name-before-it-was-changed-to-quynh-phuong, le hoai anh! :D the little thing was super cute! she kept opening her small small eyes staring at me and everything around her. i asked my mommy whether the baby actually knew what was going on beside her! i held her for a while and before deciding to do so, i told her that i'd only hold her if she promised not to cry, not to pee and not to shit on me! she was good and kept her promise well! after i fed her, she slept and then woke up again and this time, she couldnt stop eee-ing me! so i mi-ed her! haha i really cant wait until she's old enough to mi me back! :D

saint paul hospital!

i went to my mom's hospital for health check yesterday and i managed to persuade her to let me visit the operation theater! i've never been into any operation room before, so at first i was so amused! however, after a while, when i realised that the thing which was being operated was not a mannequin but actually someone's leg and the blood that i saw was not tomato sauce, i kind of freaked out and almost started to scream! haha nonetheless, i still had a photo taken inside the place! :D :D :D

july is here!

hello i've not blogged for almost a month!!! i've been home for one week or so and to be honest, i think i'll turn into a pig soon! the only things i do at home are sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep and eat again! trust me i am not joking or anything. its just that the weather has been really hot lately, yes really hot, like too hot for exercising, or even shopping! :( nonetheless, i managed to meet up with my old friends and teacher and quynh. was supposed to have a class reunion this week but i was too lazy to call people up, so i shall wait till someone else organises! :D


gosh i cant believe that its already july! not so long ago, quynh and i were still on the plane back to sg together. we didnt even have a sim card then and had to use the free phone at the airport to contact loan at like 2 am and ask her to pick us up! what have i done in all these months? seriously, i cant really remember! :( argh i miss school and hostel! however, i am not looking forward to the new school and hostel though! well, they're going to be different from the previous ones, and i'm so not prepared yet!



anyways quynh has a new dog and it looks like a cat! when i came to her house the other day, i saw the thing and it was so small and sleeping, so i decided to touch it! it was my first time touching a dog! :D :D :D then after that, the bigger dog was jealous and it looked sad, so i felt bad, hence i touched it too! and guess what? the dog liked me and licked me! omg! i swear i'll never touch any dog again!


haha cant believe that i actually spent so long looking for lumeo's picture! (lumeo is the bigger dog!) the small dog's name is lily. i told quynh that it should have been named limeo instead, but her sister said if the 'meo' was added to a dog's name, the dog would be really dumb! :D
