absolute evilness!

i remember i was taught some songs in kindergarten which praised bees as a hardworking animal. hence, i used to be neutral towards bees. no, actually i used to associate bees with something positive even. however, that is no longer the case now.

for the second time in history, i stepped on a bee. okay, to be more exact, i stepped on a bee's stinger which resulted in me so called being stung and the bee dying. the foot was the pitiful boy this time whereas it was the toe the last time. hicks, i must be the most unlucky person ever. i mean like how often do you step on a bee right? haiz okay bee is now officially at the top of my hate list now aaargh!! >.<

i dont like being in the same classes with strangers. now i hate myself for being so lazy on the day of course registration and logging out of stars after just 10 minutes, which resulted in my random adding of whichever classes that still had vacancies instead of trying to camp there to get into the same classes with my friends who had already sent me their full timetables days earlier. haiz now even hugging the newly bought accessorize bag which made me smile to myself for the whole afternoon in ion isn't making me feel any better. this sucks, like seriously! >.< okay, let's just hope that (1) those people whom i have never seen before in my entire 2 years in ntu will turn out to be at least acceptable (i shall not be greedy and ask for too much) and/or (2) i can change my classes during add/drop period. arghhhhh!

anyways talking abt this reminds me of the other day when i went to nus to see my friends. it surprised me that i saw more familiar faces in nus than i did in ntu as i walked in the canteens. i thought i had successfully buried it at some isolated corner of my mind, but the thought that i should have gone nus instead of ntu just suddenly came back to haunt me. i would like to think that i'd grown to love eveNTUally but apparently, eveNTUally is not here! :(

new boyfriend!!!

yay i found a new boyfriend!!! look, isn't he the loveliest thing ever??

he's a vietnam boy. he's cute. he's tall. he can sing. he can dance. i'm sure there's no reason for my mom to complain anymore. however, there's still this one thing. an article i found online while, hmm, googling him, says something like "in 2008 when he officially turned 18..." which means that he was probably born in 1990 by simple mathematics. haiz this is bad, i think my mom will make noise again! >.< but who cares? isn't dating younger boys the in thing now right? :D

sick cat!

coming home after 15 hours on the street in the wintry coldness of 5-6oC last night, i thought my throat felt a little weird but still tried to believe that i was fine. however, when i woke up this morning, my throat was sore, my head was dizzy and my whole body was aching so much that i could not get out of bed despite trying so hard to. haiz, i guess i'm not that strong and healthy after all! :( no, i think its not me. its just that this winter is wayyy colder than the previous ones.

hicks all my plans for the coming week need to be put on hold now. on one hand, i wish i had more time at home to complete all the things i'd wanted to do here. on the other hand, i wish i could just go back to singapore immediately as i kind of miss the sun a little. haha its funny how i always miss winter in vietnam when i'm in singapore and always miss summer in singapore when i'm in vietnam! >.<

okay off to bed now! i wish i'd wake up a healthy boy as always tomorrow! (:

mùa đông!

eo ơi đúng là mùa đông có khác, hichic, mấy hôm nay trời rét ơi là rét ý! mi mèo thật ra chả muốn ra đường tí nào đâu, nhưng mà khổ nỗi mi mèo ham chơi nên cuối cùng hôm nào cũng lông bông ngoài đường trong cái lạnh trên dưới 10oC từ sáng đến chiều. với cả ở hà nội có 2 tuần, nếu cứ nằm nhà ăn ngủ và xem phim thì thà ko về rồi lấy tiền vé máy bay mua quần áo còn sướng hơn! (viết đến đây đọc lại xem có sai lỗi chính tả nào ko mới nhận thấy mình như một con mèo bimbo chính hiệu!)

lạnh thì có lạnh thật đấy, nhưng mà thích ơi là thích ý! :D mi mèo thích đi xe máy phóng vèo vèo trong cái mưa phùn lất phất, gió thổi tóc bay vù vù, tay tuy đeo găng nhưng vẫn lạnh cong cóng như kiểu bị đóng băng, môi thì nứt nẻ, da dẻ thì xù xì, lúc thở thì khói bay ra phò phè, lúc chạm bộ phận nào vào nước thì buốt buốt... (hehe văn của mi mèo nghe cũng hay đấy nhỉ? mi mèo dùng toàn từ láy để miêu tả, nghe hết sức sinh động nhá (mặc dù phải google 'tính từ miêu tả mưa phùn' và một vài thứ khác), hehe, mi mèo rất tự hào về bản thân mình!)

dự báo thời tiết bảo là ngày mai và ngày kia nhiệt độ sẽ xuống thấp nữa, chỉ còn khoảng 5-6oC thôi, nhưng mi mèo vẫn sẽ đi chơi! chỉ còn một tuần ở nhà nữa thôi, phải tận dụng tất cả thời gian một cách hiệu quả. lạnh thì cũng mặc kệ chứ, sang kia làm gì có cái rét thế này nữa nhỉ? (mi mèo kết bài bằng một câu hỏi tu từ!)

broken heart!

hicks i started 2010 with love and hope for the future. but its just been 4 days into 2011 and i've had my heart broken into a million pieces; all my dreams are now shattered and the future seems dark and bleak! :( MY FAVOURITE BOY OF ALL TIMES IS NOW IN LOVE, WITH SOMEONE ELSE! *moans* no, i'm not jealous or anything; i even think that the way he calls her 'my girl' is absolutely the sweetest thing ever but i just cant help being sad. yes, i am a sad cat!

haiz i guess its time for me to move on to another korean show and find a new boyfriend.

2010!

so after one whole year, i'm back here again, writing yet another entry to recall and reflect on what has happened over the last 12 months. yes, it may sound cliche i must agree, but indeed time passes so fast in just the blink of an eye. at the same time, however, january/february 2010 feels like forever ago. well, university life has been busy, sometimes too hectic for my own good. so lets see what major things i have done over the past 365 days.

january

a random class gathering at penguin's place to celebrate hers and stanley's birthday. very few people came, and we played retarded games but it was good to be with them for a while to feel like we were back to jc again.

cny at shoeshoe's place! shoeshoe looked so pretty in a dress! :D

hall x's ice cream fest! i was only reminded of this event by seeing the photos. initially i thought that it happened in like 2009 haha!

johor shopping trip with the chims! we ate so much at seoul garden that we could barely walk afterwards!

visit to the tortoise museum! there were both cute-looking and uncute-looking turtles/tortoises all of which were 1038754951350975 times older than me!

ecp bbq with rms! i didnt want to go intially, but ha forced me to go with her. it was a great choice, as i got to know them better and had fun playing crazy games!

march

class steamboat dinner at sock's place! we bought and prepared everything ourselves! haiz and i think this was the last time i saw class people in 2010. we're all busy bees, arent we? :(

funorama xx wasnt as great as funorama xix. i guess its because funorama xix was OUR funorama while funorama xx wasn't. however, it was good to be back to ac after months being away and dinner with lifeguards afterwards was, as usual, lovely!

april was a month of deadlines! i was so busy with school work that i hardly had time for anything else! :( but this sem was, though busy, good as my project groups were all nice and the group-mates were not only colleagues but friends.

a great vietnam trip with the chims after which we were all promoted/demoted from chims to supercats! (: i dont know when the next time we're gonna be able to do this is (yes, given all the eeew things like internships, jobs and, haha, families in the future) so i am thankful that we all had a great time together this year!

food/book hunt with 2 supercats and UTL at Hồ Gươm area! (:

and another week being tour guide for the family!

lunch with lifeguards at some place in marina square to celebrate sylvia's and weiyi's birthdays and their wedding! they were the first among the couples in lifeguards to take their relationship to the next step. i'm so proud of them. congratulations! (:

dinner and movie with lifeguards the following week! i guess we all just miss and need to see one another too much!

august

chimy ung came to singapore to visit meeee! (: (: (: i hadn't seen her since j1, so i thought it might be awkward and everything meeting up again after 3 years. however, it turned out that we were just like how we used to be in sc! i love you chim and burung! (:

a lot of meetings with rmsies/rmsians (please vote, which name is cuter?) to prepare for welcome week.

september

the room where i spent almost all my waking time for like the whole month of september (since i went back hall just to sleep and often couldnt stay awake in lessons) :D

rms bonding session! this marked the end of the welcome week yayyyyy (not!) :D

rms exco interviews! i dedicated one whole post talking abt this, so i shall not repeat everything here. i'm lazy, i know, haha!

christmas shopping with meiqi oreo and peng in marina square! i promised i wouldn't buy anything since i had already bought so many things in the previous days but i just couldnt say no to pretty clothes! :(although i felt bad about spending money, i was still overjoyed just by looking at the amount of blouses, dresses and bags accumulated on my bed after one week of crazy shopping! :D

in-between-christmas-and-new year gathering at sock's place! happy/nancho was attracted to me for some odd reasons and my legs were like some dog magnet, oh gosh thats scary! i shall get the videos from someone's iphone soon, haha they're pretty funny!

chị Lan chim's wedding!! i rushed there from the airport and was like super late but still managed to take some photos with the beautiful bride! (: happy wedding!!!

i still vaguely remember starting the year being in love with one of my korean boyfriends but just don't know which one haha. so all in all, 2010 has been a good year, much better than 2009 honestly. yay i guess positive thinking really does work wonders and deciding to open up to new people is actually a good idea!

there are both old faces and new faces in my 2010 photos, and it seems that there are more new than old ones. people come, people go. its just the way life is, isnt it? so yeah, for those who were part of my 200x, i am thankful for your continued presence in my 2010. for those who were not part of my 200x, i am grateful for your stepping into my 2010. for all, i hope that i will continue having you in my 201x, 202x and years to come! <3
