ntu.

its been months since i last posted something here. a lot of things have happened since the last entry. here is a quick summary of july-august:

- i moved into the hostel in ntu. i am staying in block 50, hall 10. and sock is my roommate. my room is on 5th floor and my block is on a hill, so everyday in order to get to my room, i have to climb like 10 floors! and my hall is very near to the forest so there're all kinds of weird insects sometimes! :( but at least, its very cooling and quiet up here!

- i had a lecture-only week last week. it wasnt so bad, because i could decide whether to go for lectures and whether to pay attention. but now, i cant do that anymore because my tutorial classes and seminars have already started and so far, they sucked because of several reasons which i shall not list out! :( i dont like my school (yet)! i miss ac, more than ever and my nine-month holiday!

- i decided to join lifeguards again, although there are so many other ccas here. i'll be lucky if its fun. but if its not, i'll end up comparing ntu lifeguards to acjc lifeguards and missing my acjc lifeguards, especially the banana! :( argh i hope lifeguards here are as nice as those in ac! at least i know jovia, so i can skip the whole "hello my name is quynh phuong i am from acjc nice to meet you" thing! i am thinking of asking my friends to join dance sports or something like that too, as my mother so wants me to join such a club!

so yeah, thats all! i hope when i get to know people in my tutorial classes better, things will improve. i hope i will love my cca here as much as i loved acjc lifeguards. i hope that i will be so involved in hall activities that i will not think twice whether to continue staying in hostel next year. haiz but all these are future things! at the moment, i just wish i could turn back to acjc/nush time when i wore my pretty acjc uniform to school from monday to friday, had lifeguards training every tuesday, thursday and saturday and laughed until i cried during dinners in hostel everyday!

oh and i hope that i'll get the chinese elective course next semester too, so that i'll be able to communicate with my school-mates in chinese since the majority of them talk in chinese most of the time!
