i've started giving tuition for abt a month now. the agreement was to teach a sec 3 girl maths and chemistry. honestly i was like super nervous at first, as i couldnt remember any chemistry knowledge from O levels. on the first day, i got the biggest shock of my life when she took out her physics worksheet and started asking me questions from there! :( haha so after having to make wild guesses for almost the whole lesson, i quickly rushed off to buy 2 guidebooks, one in physics and one in chemistry. seriously, haha, i didnt even have any guidebook for myself when i was taking O levels. why now??? :D
everything is alright now. my tutee is a good girl and i like her a lot! :D giving tuition reminds me of one of my childhood dreams of being a teacher. i cant remember what happened to that dream. i think i gave up that dream because i thought that i was very impatient. haha however, apparently a lot of people say otherwise. haiz now i like being a teacher again! :( like i joke with my parents, if i can teach my brother, there's no one else in this world that i cant teach! :D haha maybe i should just transfer from nbs to nie!
hmm but i guess being a tutor is different from being a teacher. but i will seriously think about being a teacher in the future, like maybe after i retire or something! (: oh yeah, i just took up another assignment because the mother of the kid kept begging me although i had already refused. i don't really like this kid as much as the other one, but lets just hope that things will be fine, too! (:
