priorities!

okay this post has been in my draft for a few days but i haven't found the time to complete it yet. haiz i guess i shouldnt be too lazy and instead, complete this post before i forget what i originally wanted to write. so yeah, the thing here is that i was talking to yellowsunflower on msn the other day and somehow the topic of time came up. he told me he used to do this and that but not anymore because he couldn't afford the time and wanted to do this and that but couldn't because of the same reason. so i asked him, "would you ever have the time?"

indeed, we often ask ourselves why there is so little time to do anything in university while there used to be so much time previously in secondary school/jc. similarly, we also ask some others why they always seem so free and have so much more time than we do. however, i'm quite certain that most of us do realise that we still have 24 hours a day now, just like in the past and everyone has the same 24 hours a day. the difference is how we allocate our time between the many activities that we are involved in, or in other words, set our priorities.

i am not a high flyer, so getting first class honours/ joining 10 ccas/ doing 10 internships do not really matter to me, or at least, not yet. i just want to be a happy person with a happy life. thats why i spend a lot of my time talking to people, meeting my friends, or just doing random things. people may think that doing such things is a waste of time, but to me, those occasions are when my time is best spent! (:

having said all of the above, i still cant deny the fact that i am a full-time matriculated student at nanyang business school, nanyang technological university! :( maybe i should spend my recess week rearranging my priority list!
