best brother ever!

i think i have the best brother in the universe! i can never imagine how someone could stand me like he does! i swear if i were to be the most annoying monster in this whole wide world, he must have been the kindest angel! I LOVE MY BROTHER!!! (: come here quick, tiểu thư! :D i promise i will be even nicer than i already am and won't make you do all the housework that i always scare you haha!

young/old?

i took a long train ride alone yesterday and for some reasons, i wasn't exactly very tired or sleepy. i didn't bring my earphones either, so i couldn't listen to music or radio. neither did i bring a book out (you know me, it's just not my habit to do so!) :( as a result, i didn't have anything to do throughout the entire journey. after spending some time observing random people on the train, when the train went underground at red hill, i started doing something which i thought was ultra weird, OBSERVING MYSELF/MY REFLECTION!!!

haiz i shouldn't have done so, because after looking at myself for a while, i suddenly realised that i actually looked my age now! :( to be more direct, I DON'T LOOK YOUNG ANYMORE/ I LOOK OLD/ I LOOK MATURE! :( however i phrase it, it still sounds very painful and i am totally crying now! >.<

do you see a young lady or an old woman when you look at this picture? i kept seeing a young lady, and only after reading the caption, i started looking for the old woman and finally found her. does it mean that i still have a young and optimistic soul ie i am still young ie i look young? please tell me that i do!

what do you remember?

met up with the lifeguards yesterday! (: the gathering was, as usual, superbly awesome! acjc lifeguards are seriously the best group of people anyone could ever dream of to have as cca-mates and friends for life. i just love them to pluto and back! (haha i just learnt this phrase today and decided to put it into some use!) :D

we had lots of fun. it was one of the most complete outings ever (people who came are rachel, addy, haohao, pengpeng, sylvia, weiyi, jovia, perlin,  oreo, jiajun, neville and me!) we simply celebrated sylvia's and weiyi's birthdays (and their soon-to-be wedding anniversary too!) :D we didn't really camwhore a lot. i guess its due to the absence of some people (you know who you are but i feel like naming you here so QUYNH and MEIQI) :D however, i still managed to upload a photo album on its own instead of just adding random photos into the previous album.

while trying to think of a meaningful title for my album, i came across the video jiajun made for all of us after our nus competition 2 years ago but i suddenly realised something really important. yes it was just 2 years ago, but what do you remember happened back then? years from now, would you be able to remember what your timing for 3.15 was? would you be able to remember the stuff you learnt for the cpr test? would you be able to remember how well you did for your events during the comp? i guess not so many of us would. but what we will remember is our friendship that will last forever.

bad days.

the last few days have been filled with unlucky events! :( i don't know whether it's because there's something wrong with me, or whether it's because there's something wrong with the rest of the world. haiz i just hope that the next few days will be better. well, they must be! if not, i'll either scream or cry already! arghhhh!

just for record keeping purpose, i shall list all the bad things that have happened:

1. on the airplane, i knocked my head at the chair in front of mine and until now, there's still a lump on my head.

2. i didn't get the job for which i was interviewed.

3. i was informed at the very last minute that my room booking for my friends was not processed.

4. i lost money on stupidest reasons (phone card!!!).

5. mush and i were locked out of brother bear's office.

6. i have so much work to do for rms and i just cant seem to start.

haiz i shall not go on because doing so will just demoralise myself even more! :(  well, i shall look on the brighter sides and be positive!!! yes go peapea! (: btw i am at changi airport waiting for my friends while listening for 9x songs haha! :D

happy birthday?

its been a while since i last sent someone a happy birthday message, i mean, through the phone. i cant exactly remember when the last time was. i guess due to the rise in popularity of facebook, its just too convenient to post a comment on the birthday boy's/girl's wall instead of typing an sms. thats why i dropped the habit of sending happy birthday messages at midnight, almost entirely. well, luckily there's an 'almost' there! (:

so yeah, i sent someone a happy birthday message today, and it certainly felt different from wishing the person through facebook, different in a good way! (: i guess its time to revisit the old habits and say goodbye to the new ones, for a change.

words can be so cruel. i never know that words alone could bring tears to my eyes immediately. freak and i just cant stop now.

next stop, happiness!

its now almost 5 am (or 6 am in singapore) but i still havent slept! ): i stayed up to finish watching 下一站, 幸福! (: haha i must admit that it was my fault for being so greedy and wanting to load like 10 episodes at once with the initial intention to watch tmr but ending up watching all! but whatever, i finished the show and loved almost every minute of it! (: thanks nấm for introducing it to me!

this time, although i'm done with a drama, you must be surprise that i haven't declared that i have a new boyfriend yet! haha this is simply because i didn't fall in love with anyone in the show this time. haiz if only vanness' eyes were a bit bigger, i'd have considred him and given him a chance. too bad for him! and despite the fact that nấm's crazy about the female lead, i am so sorry to say that there's something about her face which still makes me unable to like her.

another thing is that i'm not exactly a fan of chinese, but this time, i really prefer the show's name in chinese than that in english. to be honest, 'autumn concerto' doesn't really suit the show. 下一站, 幸福 just sounds so sweet and kind of sums up everything that has happened in the lives of people in the drama. haha and since the show's in chinese, my chinese has, i think, improved tremendously! its so good that i think i can even converse to sock in chinese now and we will understand at least 28% of what the other is saying! :D

anyways i think its time for me to stop my drama craze. i've got so many things to be submitted, some long ago even. argh time to get back to work!

lifeguards!

i am pretty sure that i should have written a blog post entitled "lifeguards!" before, but now i am using it as a title again. so the thing here is that its rachel's birthday today, and i wished her a happy birthday on facebook just now. i posted an old photo of us celebrating her birthday at ac swimming pool before our competition 2 years ago and i was thinking to myself, "hmm thats such a long time ago!" then subsequently i saw a lot of posts from my dear lifeguards wishing her a happy birthday too and i started to miss lifeguards like a lot! :(

a year ago.

i went swimming with my brother today at the same old swimming pool that i always go to every time i am home. while swimming, i suddenly thought of this time around a year ago, when we asked banana along too! all of us would not mind waking up at like 5am to go swimming! (: this year i wont get to go swimming with banana. neither will i get to see banana! maybe i should eat 1209582650917368799 bananas to show banana how much i want to see her and then she will visit me and ha in singapore.


anyways i will be away for one week. haiz if only banana and ha were here...

hk drama craze!!

I JUST FINISHED WATCHING 2 SEASONS OF FORENSIC HEROES! :D

hk dramas are pretty much different from the ones that i normally watch (korean, japanese, taiwanese). and this time, the show i chose is also not at all similar to the usual romantic comedies. but i'm seriously in love with the show! i watched days and nights (even though i frequently got scared and couldnt sleep at night after watching forensic heroes in the evening) non-stop, so i finished the whole thing so quickly that my brother got shocked haha! :D

I took a print-screen while watching the last episode, and thats how the second picture was taken! :D I like Ding Ding because she's so cute all the time! I like Ivan too, but he's almost old enough to be my father, so I cant and wont call him my boyfriend! >.<
