i often complain that i don't like doing this and that because i have no choice. but sometimes having too many choices isn't necessarily a good thing.
when we are faced with having to choose one option out of many desirable choices, we will begin to consider hypothetical trade-offs. our options are evaluated in terms of missed opportunities instead of the opportunity's potential. one of the downsides of making trade-offs is it alters how we feel about the decisions we face; afterwards, it affects the level of satisfaction we experience from our decision.
haiz i really want to give it serious thoughts but this is really not the right time. exams are coming soon (in like 2 days?) and i have no idea why i am so so so distracted. argggh seriously i need to shake myself out of this horrible state! its not as easy as shaking my head like mad to get out of the act cute mode though! >.<
